What a week I just had at TPC-Sawgrass, Amazing sums it up perfectly!!!
I was hired to help host a revolutionary new instructional DVD called TOUR Academy Home Edition. This program was put together by an incrediable production company out of Canada called Digital Shelf Space. It will change the way people learn the game of golf and I am so thrilled that I was chosen to work beside TOUR Academy instructors Travis Fulton, John Stahlschmidt and 91′ Open Champion Ian Baker-Finch!!! I can’t wait to tell you more when the product comes out this summer. Look for commercials in the next few months on Golf Channel. A big thank you to everyone at Digitalshelfspace.com, Tourproductions.com, TPC-Sawgrass, PGA Tour Academy, Travis’s
, John, and of course Ian Baker-Finch. Great experience for sure!!
Up next for me in the next week is a great Golfing with the Girls session at First Tee of Central Arkansas, hosting Arkansas Baptist School System golf challenge at Maumelle Country Club and being introduced as the new course liasion for Natural State Golf Trail. Love staying so busy and working with great people.
Thank you to my friends, family and of course my wonderful husband!

LADIES TAKE IT HOME!!!!!!!!!
Posted by christina in Latest News on December 1st, 2010
Wow, what an amazing finish and I’m so excited I helped the ladies pull it out. It was a great show for me and all of the ladies. I finally feel that I played well when it really counted, I held up under pressure and got it done! I know I only finished third, but I played well today. I’m very excited for Blair, if there was anyone on the show that I got closest with during this time it was probably Blair. I’m hoping that she takes the momentum from the shows win and propels her to great success on the LPGA! Good luck at Final Stage Blair!!!
I know that I played great during this finale and through most of the show so I am kind of bummed that I didn’t finish higher in the MVP standings. Had I got the job done versus ARod in the last show it could have been a very very different outcome for me and this whole show. I’m a great proponent of believing in what happens, happens for a reason….. I hope there is a reason why I didn’t get it done again. Even though I know Lori played really well and we got along quite well this time around I really wished I would have finally beat her! haha (Sorry Lori, I know you’re thrilled you got me again! ha) As for the drama with Elena…I wish her nothing, but success. She’s a good player, but I’m glad I don’t have to deal with that drama anymore.
As for the guys, I wish them success as well. I continue to speak with Football and Blake on a weekly basis and I hope that continues. They are great people and players. It really hurt me that I had to beat Blake on the last hole, that was a great putt it just didn’t fall. He would have been my last choice for sure, he is a good person and I know when he gets his confidence back he will take it all the way. Good Luck guys.
I have to comment on this show and how I got slammed for my backing off the golf ball. I thought it was hilarious since it was soooo true. I have never in my life backed off as much as I did in this show, they probably only showed 5% of my backing away. It was bad! haha I guess the good news is that no matter what I backed off till I was ready, but yes I totally deserved being made fun of!!!! haha
To all my sponsors who still to this day care about me and what I’m doing you all rock and your more than sponsors, your friends. Thank you so much!
Thank you to the Golf Channel for allowing me to once again have this amazing experience. I really can’t say how professional and amazing the whole staff is. If you read this please hire me!!! I’d love to work for you !!!!!! hahaha
Last, but by far not the least thank you a million times over to my amazing family. You know I love you and I can’t tell you how much I need and appreciate your support. Especially you Ding, thank you and I love you.
Look forward to what the future brings,
Christina
1st Strike…but finale it is!
Posted by christina in Latest News on November 26th, 2010
I think last nights was a great show….All except for me loosing my match! I was so ready to go and fired up about finally getting to play, I would have bet $5000 I was going to win. Good thing I didn’t bet because I would now be out $5000! haha
Not everyone watching realises how the show sometimes works, but a lot of the time the producers need to cut out material to fit everything in. What you didn’t see is that ARod and I played that hole 3 times and both of the first two times I had the upper hand and just didn’t take advantage. I missed both putts. It was so frustrating since I know that my short game is by far my biggest strength. I totally opened the door for ARod on that last hole. The good thing is that he won with a birdie and for my own satisfaction I putted that chip that I stuck to 4 feet….even though it didn’t count, I made the putt!!!! I can’t be too disappointed loosing to a birdie, losing to ARod on the other hand stunk!
The best part about this show was Lori’s strike eraser! What an amazing shot and in such high fashion. Everyone thought that the strike eraser would come from a little pitch in, not a 104yard shot from the middle of the fairway on the day before the finale show to bring back Ms. Sara Brown!!! What an amazing feeling that was, congrats to Lori! It wasn’t even an option in who we were going to choose to bring back, even if Elena wasn’t a complete mess we probably wouldn’t have chosen her anyway since she would have been sitting for two shows while Sara had barley sat two hours. It wasn’t even something that needed to be spoke about, it was Sara…period! What a great feeling and just like I have been talking about, this show is all about momentum and hopefully that swung it. Having said that I personally feel bad about losing such a critical match and ending the day with a loss. What was worse however was having a fight among out own team on the way home on the night before the finale. It made me sick to watch the show and see that Elena was cheering for Brian while 0ne of the nicest women I have met and a great teammate was losing. It was hard to see that last night, very disappointing. I knew she didn’t like me, but to be happy Brian beat Sara??!! What I really hope doesn’t swing our momentum is having to deal with team drama while knowing we need to play our butts off in 12 hours to even have a chance.
We are one person down going into the finale, its 5-4 and we need to play as best as we can to fend off the men, its going to be an uphill battle and I really hope we can pull it off.
Thank you again for all your support!!!

NOT A GOOD SHOWING……
Posted by christina in Latest News on November 17th, 2010
As I write this I’m fuming…. If everybody didn’t realize all Elena’s snide comments are directed at me. I am NOT at all putting my poor performance on her shoulders, but it really would be nice if perhaps the person that can only help you win….. you would support! If I don’t play well and help the ladies out, we won’t have a chance to win so it would be nice to get some support instead of having so many negative vibes from your own teammate.
Having said that, I have played poorly for the last two shows and I’m very disappointed in myself and my performances. In the driving distance challenge I pulled it by trying to hit it too hard and in the closest to the pin challenge I didn’t hit it near close enough. I haven’t stepped up and done my part lately and its very frustrating to watch. I was somewhat surprised that Football never chose to play me in the benching challenge; however we all didn’t play that well and picking a girl with a strike already was smart. Neither Lori or Football played particularly well; however like it always does it comes down to the short game and like Football says “sometimes your the bug and sometimes your the windshield”, tonight he was the bug! HAHAHAHA I just had to throw that in somewhere, that was pure comedy! He is such a good guy and a great character, its never fun to watch someone you have high regard for lose; however it was great to see Lori pull it off. That girl is rolling in the dough this season! Congrats…..Yes, I’m congratulating Lori.
I can’t believe there are only 2 shows left! I feel like there is soooo much more that is going to happen. I feel like Ive barely spoke and played even less! I’m looking forward to next week to see how the finale will be framed up, it could get interesting!!!
Thanks again to everyone for their support, I’m so blessed to have such amazing friends and family.

Loosing momentum….
Posted by christina in Latest News on November 10th, 2010
Today was not my best day….nor was it for most of the ladies. I have said from day 1 that my biggest strength is my short game and tonight I did not prove that to be true. The first challenge was a round the world event where you gained one point per each putt you made and if by chance you missed you could continue again trying to increase your points, but if you missed twice you would loose all points. I was the first to go out of both the men and women so I was pretty much the guinea pig and unfortunately I wasn’t a great example, I missed on the third chance and decided to keep the 2 points I had. I really REALLY wanted to go again, but looking at it from a team stand point it wasn’t smart, we needed any and all points we could get. Only Football and Elena were able to make it the whole way around and gain the full 5 points. The good news was that at the end of this first challenge we were all square; the bad news was Brian came out flying in the second team challenge and made something that was actually quite hard look like a cake walk. Congrats Brian! I in turn showed that it was in fact not that easy; I missed both my chips from the second location (as did 6 others). I felt really bad after that miss. I had been doing everything right thus far, getting the points and doing what was needed for the team, today I did not. It was really a let down for me and I needed to pull myself up and unfortunately that is very much a challenge on this team with all the drama we have seen out of Elena. Tonight was the first time the audience has seen her in full force, but we have been dealing with this from basically show 3 and its wearing everyone very very thin. I am by far Elena’s biggest target and the way that she is acting for this team is making it hard for all of us to stay focused and keep our moral up.
The result of this show has Elena loosing to Football in the team challenge, it is not the result anyone on our team wanted. We have lost a member and now there will be 5 men vs. 4 women unless someone pulls off a strike eraser. It is not the result we needed……….. However, the question was posed that will this loss perhaps be a gain for the ladies moral???? I guess that’s to be seen; however on this show your still right in the mix of things your just not contributing golf wise. It’s Elena golf we want not her attitude and as we have seen with the men, Dave has been just as influential as the other men perhaps even more so with what he says so I guess we will have to wait to see what happens.
All I know is that I need to stay focused on the finish line, get my strong mental attitude back, hit the shots I know I can and not let Elena’s negative words and poor attitude affect what I do because I only win if she does too.
Come on ladies….lets get that momentum back on track!!!!
Strike Fest
Posted by christina in Latest News on November 3rd, 2010
Throughout the course of this show people have been asking me how long the show will last since there is so many strikes that need to be given out; well last night is how. Six strikes were handed out!! I am so grateful that I wasn’t one that collected!
Anthony (A-Rod) chose to play me on the 3rd hole par 3 and I hit a great shot, unfortunately I didn’t make the putt; however A-Rod made a crucial mistake by chipping it so far past making a Bogey. I was excited that a-Rod chose me, I feel like he is one of the strongest players and I hope he felt the same way in choosing me. It felt great to succeed and help the ladies out. Every shot we hit on this show feels like it’s the end of the world if you don’t hit it well, so every shot you hit well helps take a little of the pressure off and gains confiendence. I feel like every week I have been gaining confidence and I hope I can keep it going as long as possible.
One of the unfortunate things that happened this week was that Brenda was benched permanently and two of our strongest players, Sara and Lori were dealt strikes. Having said this good thing is that still next week it will be 5 on 5. We know that the men are riding on some momentum, but we know we can still pull this off. We are on an even playing field and we just have to play smart, get it done and work as a team. During this show and many previous a few things have been going on behind the scenes that the producers are choosing not to show and its actually causing lots of drama within the house. We as a team have to not let the negative force within the house affect our team spirit and stay strong. Like I said in one of the preview shows “we are a team and if we dont win as one, nobody does”. Hopefully everyone will realize this and we can make good things happen and put an end to the guys momentum.
I look forward to next week to see what will happen and who will take the upper hand now…..
Thanks again for always supporting me,
Christina
Can the girls keep it going????
Posted by christina in Latest News on October 27th, 2010
Well the weather kept us waiting to see what happens and I guess it will do the same for you! We will have to see what happens next week between Elena and Andrew, but leading up to this match we played awesome! I can honestly tell you that the first distance challenge was an absolute blast. We made a challenge that is actually quite hard look like a 20 handicapper could do it. It isn’t easy to hit a shot just past another ball while trying not to hit it too far past, but we did such a great job. It seemed to start out a little rocky with the girls thinking I hadn’t hit it far enough to surpass 80 yards, but I knew I had. I hit a perfect 54degree wedge and that club goes 85yards and with adrenaline I figured it was more than fine and sure enough it was. What was close was Lori beating the previous by 3 inches!!!! That was so awesome hearing and seeing them have to find string to measure it because the laser was coming back with the exact same yardage. What momentum and we just killed it from there. My ball hitting the 150 yard marker was probably the best thing that happened since we no longer thought about “just” hitting it past we just swung and waited to see what happened…..It couldn’t have gone better for us. It was actually a record at how many shots were hit and continued to be hit at 12, the guys had no chance.
Since we won that first challenge so easy it would have been nice to take them out on the 2nd half, but unfortunately Blair and I made it to the finals however lost to Football. It was a tough challenge hitting it UNDER the wall and trying to stop it on the green that broke toward the ocean and was a fast green. It all ended up ok because not only did we win the 3rd and final team challenge, Sara stiffed it! That was such a tough shot to pull off in that situation and she dominated it….LOVE that girl and LOVE that she’s on my team!!
The only real bummer of this show was that we lost the Waste Management challenge and lost out on $15,000 cash
Lori hit a good shot it just had too much spin on that green that was extremely downhill. We totally thought it was a lot closer from where we were, but unfortunalty not. It was a great try to come back, but we were just so far back from the first day that it was going to be a big feat to make up that ground. Its ok though because there was also $15,000 donated to keep America green so it wasn’t a complete loss. We just need to make sure that we keep the momentum and that doesn’t give the guys any. Hopefully Elena will keep it going.
I know that next week is going to be crazy and it’s going to be so different from everything we have seen thus far, so stay tuned…..( and from what ive heard its dram filled as well!!!) Here is a link to next weeks commercial…
Enjoy and until next week,
Christina

Sara makes it 3 in a row for the girls!

I’m a little late with the blog , its been a busy week. Helped raise money for the First Tee in Little Rock, did a Golfing with the Girls clinic and just yesterday played with the Rock legend Alice Cooper and his lead guitarist, Damon Johnson. Great dudes, perfect attitudes and salty players!!! Alice shot 75! Even par on the back and 3 birdies. Thanks for a great day guys and enjoy the rest of your tour!!!
As for the Big Break this week was another victory for the ladies! Super excited about it and hoping that we can keep this momentum going, its a girls show thus far!!! hahaha But it wouldn’t be half as entertaining without the boys!!!
I was again extremely happy with my performance this week. I’m proud of the fact that I have accomplished all my challenges successfully. I’m sure everyone didn’t noticed my not so happy face when again I was not chosen for a benching challenge, but I’m sure a lot did. I really feel that thus far I’ve accomplished everything that I have been asked and still I haven’t had a chance to play in a benching challenge. I’m not complaining that Sara was chosen because she didn’t just win she DOMINATED! haha So proud of her for being sick one day and kickin butt the next. Just hope that I will speak my mind instead of trying to keep the peace and allow others to be chosen before me. It kind of stinks that I have been playing so well and my peers aren’t acknowledging that I’m a strong, if not one of the strongest! But like ive said many of times before I cant win if the team doesn’t so as long as the teams winning I will not complain….
Thanks again for all the support and I look forward to posting again next week!
Christina
